Lakeside Software to Accelerate VMware
Desktop Virtualization Assessments

Bloomfield Hills, Michigan ― August 16, 2010 ― Lakeside Software announced today a new partnership with VMware to assist customers and partners in adopting desktop virtualization based on VMware View™. VMware Technical Services Professionals (VTSPs), including the VMware Professional Services Organization (PSO), will be able to leverage Lakeside Software SysTrack assessment, design and planning tools to support and accelerate VMware View and VMware ThinApp™ deployment opportunities in presales and postsales desktop assessments. Under terms of the agreement between the companies, VMware Professional Services Partners around the world will be able to leverage SysTrack software in desktop virtualization projects.

SysTrack is a powerful tool suite for helping organizations plan and optimize application delivery strategies, realize substantial savings in desktop and application costs all while optimizing the end user experience.

Over the past several years, SysTrack has gained substantial traction as one of the industry’s tools of choice for assessment and design of desktop virtualization projects. With over 300 systems integrators and partners, Lakeside Software technologies are used in enterprise scale virtualization projects worldwide.
