Today Forrester published The Forrester Wave™: Digital Employee Experience Management Solutions, Q4 2026, and Lakeside was named a Leader. I’m proud of our team for that, and I’m especially grateful to our customers, because Forrester talks with the people who run SysTrack every day and what they say about us matters infinitely more than anything we could say about ourselves.
If you’re a CIO or an EUC leader evaluating digital employee experience platforms right now, I’d ask you to put Lakeside on your shortlist. We received the highest possible score in 19 of 38 criteria in the report, which Forrester defines as “superior relative to others” in the evaluation. If you give us a shot, I think you’ll like what you see.
Where I’d start your evaluation
When I read through Forrester’s scorecard, a few criteria stood out to me because they’re the ones our customers lean on most. SysTrack received Forrester’s highest possible score in the endpoint experience telemetry, root cause diagnosis, proactive remediation, remediation automation, synthetic monitoring and compliance validation.
Most of these are principles I embedded in our architecture since day one. SysTrack collects deep, high-frequency telemetry and keeps the history, so when something that could impact digital employee experience happens, your team can see what changed and why, and fix the cause proactively before it disrupts the business. In Forrester’s evaluation, our customers praise our excellent telemetry depth, along with responsive partnership, and Forrester’s take was Lakeside well suits complex enterprises seeking deep endpoint intelligence and governed automation. You won’t find me arguing.
Why we talk about reliability
The Forrester report also states that our “differentiated vision centers on site reliability engineering (SRE) principles”, and I think that’s a fair summary of where we’re taking SysTrack. In my experience, employees judge their digital experience by whether their laptop and applications work, and by whether they lose time to the same problem they had last week.
Every one of those interruptions creates toil on two ledgers: the time the employee loses, and the time your service desk and EUC team spend chasing it. SRE gives IT a shared way to measure that toil, with service-level objectives and error budgets the rest of IT already uses for infrastructure and applications. I like that approach because it lets EUC teams report on the endpoint the same way their colleagues report on everything else, which gives the endpoint a seat in the reliability conversation the rest of IT is already having.
What a fair evaluation looks like
If you do add us to the list, here’s how I’d suggest running it. Have your team write the success criteria before anyone installs an agent, then put your shortlisted platforms in the same environment against the problems that cost you the most today. Look at how quickly each one gets to the root cause of a recurring issue and how much of the fix it can automate with the right guardrails in place. Then ask each of us to show your leadership, in hours and dollars, what that work was worth.
An open invitation: Put us to the test
Lakeside has been building endpoint intelligence for nearly 30 years. Gartner named us a Leader in its 2026 Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools, and ISG named us a Leader in its 2026 Provider Lens evaluations for both Digital Employee Experience Solutions and AI-Enabled End-User Computing Solutions.
But I don’t believe analyst recognition entitles us to your business. It earns us the opportunity to compete for it.
And that’s all I’m asking for.
