Sustainable Measures for a Better View

At Lakeside Software, we firmly believe that our success is intertwined with our ability to drive positive impacts across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. As stewards of the business world, we recognize the imperative to operate sustainably, treat our employees with respect, and uphold the highest standards of corporate governance.

Beyond Green IT

Beyond Green IT

Our commitment to environmental responsibility drives us to continuously innovate, optimize resource utilization, and reduce our carbon footprint. By implementing efficiency measures, we are taking concrete steps to mitigate climate change and contribute to a healthier planet.

We believe that organizational transformation is driven by data.

We go beyond green IT to implement green operations practices using SysTrack by Lakeside Software. Through SysTrack data, Lakeside is able to support our own ESG goals surrounding energy consumption, power usage per device model, virtual machines, and printing.

SysTrack collects electricity usage and wastage (kWh) as well as CO2 production and excess (kg). This data can be viewed per system, location, or other group for ease of reporting. Plus, the data can be used to calculate energy wasted or saved.

Energy Consumption

SysTrack collects the amount of power each device uses so that organizations can report down to the watt. This data can identify models with high power usage and compare older models to newer ones to calculate energy consumption and savings.

Power Usage per Device Model

SysTrack collects electricity use from virtual machines and data centers, CO2 by data center, and electricity by CPU and GPU. This data can be used to provide a comprehensive view of energy consumption and allow for a reduction in energy consumption by automatically shutting down inactive systems.

Virtual Machines

SysTrack collects number of printers, pages printed, and CO2 produced as a result. This data can be used for measurement and reporting of environmental waste caused by running printers and using excessive amounts of paper.
