Lakeside Software Opens Japan Office

Bloomfield Hills, MI ― September 27th, 2017 ― Lakeside Software, a leader in workspace analytics, today announced it has opened a regional headquarters for Japan based in Tokyo, and has appointed top industry veteran Yasuhiro Nohara to serve as its country manager.

This opening is fueled by the rapidly growing demand in Japan for workspace analytics solutions. SysTrack is already in use by over 4000 companies and organizations worldwide.

As Japan country manager, Mr. Nohara will direct sales and business development initiatives and recruit and lead all staff. In his new role, Mr. Nohara reports to Michael Schumacher, founder and chief executive officer of Lakeside Software, and is a member of Lakeside’s executive management team.

With almost 30 years’ experience in the IT industry in Japan, Mr. Nohara brings an excellent track record in bringing high value to the Japanese market. Most recently at MobileIron Japan, Mr. Nohara was country manager for Japan where he defined, staffed and executed a through go-to-market plan. Furthermore, he was instrumental in accelerating MobileIron growth and establishing a leadership position in Japan’s competitive market. He was also a contributor to the success and trade sale of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
